The name of a driver who lost his life in a single vehicle crash on Marychurch Road, south of Hamilton last Friday has been released.
Waikato District Road Policing Manager, Inspector Freda Grace, said the deceased was 39 year-old Mathew Whiu Morehu YORSTON, of Hamilton.
On Friday 22nd May, Mr. YORSTON¡¯S vehicle crossed the centreline, while travelling north on Marychurch Road, colliding head on with a tree. Mr. YORSTON was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
