At around 2.30am this morning Waitemata Police attended a vehicle crash on Old North Road in Kumeu.
A van with 3 people had left the road and crashed. Two people, a young man and a young woman were both killed. The other occupant received minor injuries.
Police are informing the victims¡¯ next of kin, and the Waitemata Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
No further comment will be made at this stage.
