Police can confirm the name of the person located deceased in Puketapu on Friday 17 February 2023, following Cyclone Gabrielle.
She was 59-year-old Marie Enid Greene.
Police¡¯s thoughts and condolences are with Marie¡¯s family and friends.
Her death will be referred to the coroner.
Marie¡¯s family requests privacy at this extremely difficult time. They do not wish to be contacted.
