1 min read

The Police investigation into the disappearance of Horowhenua man Palmiro MacDonald, 36, is continuing.

Detective Inspector Ross Mckay says rumours of him being found are incorrect.

¡°We are still very much looking for Mr MacDonald and have serious concerns about his wellbeing, as do his family, given that it has been more than a month since he was last seen.¡±

The last reported sighting of Mr MacDonald was on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 March 2016, when he was seen travelling as a passenger in a Silver 2004-2005 Holden Commodore with a distinctive boot spoiler and silver custom mag wheels.

Mr McKay says Police are following a number of lines of inquiry and are keeping an open mind. Police have also executed a number of search warrants in the Horowhenua area and are examining some items of interest that have been located.

¡°The exact circumstances of Mr MacDonald¡¯s disappearance are still unclear, but it is out of character,¡± Mr McKay says.

His family have also set up a Facebook page titled ¡®Find Palza¡¯.

¡°If anyone has any information about Mr MacDonald, including any sightings of him in this silver vehicle, or information about the vehicle itself, then we¡¯d like to hear from them,¡± Mr McKay says.
