Police are treating an incident at a Hawke¡¯s Bay primary school today where a pupil was injured as an accident.
Emergency services were called to Taradale Primary School at 1.15pm today after a pupil was found unconscious and having difficulty breathing.
Police have confirmed that the incident that resulted in the boy¡¯s injuries was accidental.? Specific details of what happened will not be released until the police investigation is completed.
The nine-year-old boy is currently in an induced coma and is being flown to Auckland¡¯s Starship Hospital.
