Two people will face court after workers disrupted them during an alleged burglary at a university in Albany on the weekend.

°Â²¹¾±³Ù±ð³¾²¹³Ù¨¡ East Area Prevention Manager, Inspector Todd Moore-Carter, says Police were called at around 3.40pm yesterday after workers disturbed the intruders.

¡°Our staff arrived quickly and swiftly apprehended two offenders, who were hiding within the building.

¡°We believe the offenders were there to steal copper from the building following similar reports in recent weeks.¡±

Inspector Moore-Carter says enquiries are ongoing to determine if any of the incidents are linked.

¡°I¡¯d like to praise the actions of the workers, who called 111 straight away and provided excellent information, which allowed our teams to locate these offenders and hold them to account.¡±
