Wairarapa Police have arrested a 40-year-old man and charged him with manslaughter following yesterday?€?s car crash in Greytown in which the car?€?s front seat passenger was killed.
The car?€?s driver was arrested this afternoon at Masterton Hospital where he is being treated for leg and arm injuries. His appearance was excused at a JP sitting of the Masterton District Court this afternoon and with his lawyer?€?s consent was remanded on bail to the hospital to appear in court on his discharge, possibly tomorrow.
