Culture Survey Results 2022
- In April 2022, an organisation-wide survey was conducted by Police to assess workplace culture after two years of policing in a COVID-19 environment.
- The Commissioner of Police and the Chair of IPCA commissioned a staff survey in September 2020 to better understand our people¡¯s experiences of Police workplace culture and support an investigation by the IPCA into allegations of workplace bullying in Police.
- Topline results were released in late 2020 and further detailed results released with the IPCA report in March 2021.
- The 2022 Police culture survey asked similar questions to the 2020 survey in order to assess what progress has been made and where there continues to be challenges.
- The topline results summary and organisation-wide report from the 2022 workplace culture survey have now been collated and shared with Police staff.
- The vast majority feel 51½ÖÉä is a great place to work, with nine out of ten staff appreciating their relationships with team members.
- Staff shared that they are looking forward to refocusing on Police¡¯s core business of preventing crime and harm and ensuring our communities are safe and feel safe, after two years of working hard to support the country with its Covid-19 response.
